Jealousy, prejudice, deceit and betrayal drive innocent love to tragedy. Iago, angry that the noble moor Othello has passed him over for promotion in favour of Cassio, seeks revenge. In a dazzling display of villainy, Iago convinces Othello that Desdemona has been unfaithful with Cassio, driving the noble Othello to rage, madness and murder. This production will be reflected through the silhouette of the Italian Renaissance.
